Dr. Adil Lari, Architect MSc PhD

Born in 1963, Dr. Lari studied architecture at the Universities of Technology in Vienna and Graz, Austria.
His design, construction and research projects have earned him national and international acclaim.
In 1991, he was awarded the Prize of the State of Austria for the low-energy construction project „Solar Housing Plabutsch“ in Graz, Austria.

In 1998, the multifunctional office building “OOC Center” (Amman/Jordan) earned him a nomination to the Austrian Consulting Award. A further nomination to the ACA followed in 2001 for the project “Holiday Inn Hotel” (Amman/Jordan), where an energy strategy was implemented to reduce energy consumption, and therefore operating costs, by as much as 50% below that of comparable buildings.
